The Winter Dress is a play set during the Black Death. It’s the story of a dress maker and a monk who meet on their travels, in the days before the Christmas of 1348.

Deep in the winter darkness, they share their stories to shorten the night and discover that they have more in common than first imagined. One of the pair, however, is carrying an unwelcome gift to Kilkenny.

The Winter Dress is a tale of life, love and laughter in the face of the Black Death.
