Over 40 free performances on the Yulefest Live Music Stage this Festive Season!
The 2026 Yulefest Live Music Stage programme has just been announced with over 40 local and regional bands, choirs and groups performing across the 11 days of the Yulefest Christmas Market. Mornings are for the kids with local youth groups singing, dancing and playing instruments, afternoons will get you in the festive spirit with choirs from Kilkenny and the South East, while evenings are for Kilkenny bands and musicians across a range of genres.
Performances are free and take place undercover in the marquee in the centre of the Yulefest Christmas Market on The Parade in Kilkenny city. Protected from the elements it is the perfect place to take a break from shopping snack on treats you picked up at the market and enjoy some live music!
Beginning on Saturday 28th November with the opening of the Christmas Market and the Launch of Yulefest Kilkenny 2026, performances will take place from 12pm every weekend and on Christmas week.
With returning favourites, new talent and our biggest ever range of choirs there is something for everyone to enjoy! Plus, due to popular demand Hannah Hoops Children’s Dance Party’s will return on special days throughout the festival.
