Please read in full and ensure your application complies before completing the application form: 

• Musicians applying should have 1 or more members to be born and or based in Kilkenny.
• Be able to provide a link to a video of a previous performance
• Be available for 1 performance on either November 30th and December 6th, 7th, 13th, 14th, 20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd (Successful Applicants – Slot allocated by Festival)
• All applicants MUST complete and submit the application form, including samples of their work; incomplete applications cannot be accepted.
• All bands must state their fee for a 60 minute performance in their application, and if selected, will be offered an appropriate set feeby Yulefest for their performance based on the overall budget availability and in line with Fair Pay for Artists
• Yulefest Kilkenny will provide the venue, staging, production and marketing. Bands must provide their own instruments, back line and amps.
• The programme line-up for the band time-slots will be selected by Yulefest Kilkenny and their decision is final; please note that feedback on applications will not be offered.
• Preference will be given to groups with 3+ membersand those that demonstrate their ability to include Christmas themed performance in their set lists in the selected genres.
• Please note there are a limited number of time slots available and allocating those slots is at the discretion of the adjudicators.
• Successful applicants will be contacted and offered a specific time slot and fee by Monday 3rd November. They will have 48 hours to accept the offer. If they do not accept the time slot will be given to the next band in line. All applicants will be informed of the panel’s decision by Friday, 7thNovember 2025.
