The annual Mayor’s Christmas Concert is a highlight of the Kilkenny social calendar. Showcasing Kilkenny talent and raising much needed funds for local charities, the line-up for this year’s concert includes The Kilkenny’s, Sola, Davey Long, Tomas Jackman, Gwen Blanch and Alizes School of Singing.
Host, Mayor Andrew McGuinness has promised plenty of surprises and spot prizes on the night. The perfect way to kick off your festive season.
This year all funds raised will go into the Mayors Christmas Fund and will be presented to Kilkenny’s Lyons Club who will distribute to St Vincent DePaul and local charity organisations. All money raised will help local people who are vulnerable and struggling at Christmas time.
Tickets are €18 and go on sale on Friday the 12th November from the Watergate Theatre box office. Doors open at 7pm on the night with the first act on at 7.30pm.
