Music in Kilkenny in association with Music Network presents a stunning trio featuring Anna Dennis (soprano), Jonas Nordberg (lute) and Liam Byrne (viola da gamba). Combining the gorgeous, warm tones of lute and viola da gamba with an enchanting soprano voice these internationally renowned artists will share a programme of exquisite arias, madrigals and instrumentals including works by Dowland, Monteverdi, Purcell and Telemann. Recreating the musical landscapes of the Jacobean English drawing room and the salons of enice, music, poetry and song intertwine in what will truly be an intimate and captivating concert.
