Visit this beautiful Kilkenny treasure with a festive twist and come see our display of reindeer in the beautiful Rothe House Garden. Why not stop in while you’re on the Yulefest Christmas Trail!
*There is free admission to the garden from 3-6pm every day in December (closed December 2nd). With late opening until 8pm on Saturdays (except the 7th). Admission will be via the Rothe House shop and visitors must register their name on entry.
The retail shop will be open during the garden opening times, selling local crafts and Irish products. An easy place to pick up some gifts while you are here!
Some points to note so we can safely and happily welcome everyone:
- Access is via cobbled courtyards that may be challenging for those with mobility issues or small children in buggies.
- Access to the raised garden is via a lift.
- Alternative access may be arranged if available, please contact Rothe House directly in advance if you have additional needs.
- Visitors are asked to be aware of uneven surfaces throughout the property and be respectful of the heritage nature of the garden and property.
- You are welcome to bring hot drinks or snacks into the garden but please take your rubbish away again and leave no trace.
