Celebrate Christmas in Kilkenny with Yulefest!

Kilkenny’s Christmas festival featuring festive events across the stunning medieval county of Kilkenny, Ireland from November to January each year. 2026 key festival events will take place between November 28th and December 23rd. Join us for Santa’s arrival and the launch of the Yulefest Christmas Market on Saturday November 28th!  

Visitors to the festival can expect festive treats, creative crafts, live music and family entertainment each weekend along with special events each week.  

Featured events at this year’s festival include Santa’s arrival to Yulefest November 28th; Yulefest Christmas Market each weekend; Yulefest Live Music Stage each weekend; Medieval Mile Run December 4th; Santa Truck December 12th; Yulefest Movie Night December 10th, with plenty more festival favourites to be announced!! Plus, Santa Experiences, Markets around the County, Music Concerts, Art Workshops, Family entertainment and lots more!
